How Our Cold-Pressed Sunflower Oil Is Made

Process Overview

At Yoga Agri Foods, cold-pressed sunflower kernel oil is produced using traditional mechanical extraction methods. The process avoids chemical solvents and high-temperature refining, focusing instead on controlled pressing, careful filtration, and consistent handling.

Selection of Sunflower Kernels

Clean, mature sunflower kernels are sourced from selected agricultural partners. The kernels are inspected and prepared to ensure uniform quality before pressing.

Cold Pressing Below 50°C

The kernels are mechanically pressed using a stainless-steel press. During extraction, the oil temperature is carefully maintained below 50°C to avoid thermal degradation.

Natural Filtration

After pressing, the oil is filtered to remove residual particles. No chemical treatments or bleaching agents are used during this stage. The result is a clean, clear oil with a neutral profile.

Shelf Life & Storage

When stored under recommended conditions, the oil maintains quality for a shelf life of more than 9 months. Proper storage ensures consistency in taste, appearance, and performance.
